State of California FitnessGram Test

The State of California requires the TK Physical Education Department facilitate the FitnessGram Physical Fitness Test on a yearly basis.
 
Physical Education Standard 3.1:   
Assess one’s own muscle strength, muscle endurance, aerobic capacity, flexibility, and body composition by using a scientifically based health-related fitness assessment.

The following is a list of the fitness test components;
Muscular Strength- Push Ups and Trunk Lift
Muscular Endurance-Curl Ups
Flexibility-Sit and Reach
Aerobic Capacity-Mile
Body Composition -Body mass index (calculated from height and weight)
